Description

RFP BNP15-0066 Battelle National Biodefense Institute (BNBI), Management & Operating Contractor of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s National Biodefense Analysis & Countermeasures Center (NBACC), is requesting proposals from prospective offerors to provide a Telemetry System in support of the National Biological Threat Characterization Center (NBTCC). The NBTCC requires a telemetry system capable of monitoring temperature and providing electrocardiogram (in near real time) data. Installation of the telemetry system and surgical implantation of the telemetry devices will also be required. The telemetry system will be installed in the A-Block ABSL-3 rooms. Non-human primates will be implanted with telemetry transmitters with the vendor providing personnel to perform surgical implantation of the devices.
