- NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Puget Sound, in support of PSNS and IMF DETACHMENT YOKOSUKA, intends to solicit a firm fixed price contract to be negotiated on a sole source basis with NORTHROP GRUMMAN per FAR 6.302 to provide onsite original equipment manufacturer technical field representative and repair services for ship ™s service turbine generator (SSTG) and cooling pump turbine generator (CPTG) performance evaluation and testing during steaming. The anticipated posting date of the solicitation is on or about 29 January 2015 with a closing on 12 February 2015. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals prior to offer due date, which will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this action based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Electronic submission of proposals/quotes is not available at this time. This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) Website: www.neco.navy.mil. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring that site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offeror to access the posted documents. Prospective offerors should register themselves on the NECO website. No telephone or FAX requests will be accepted, and no hard-copy solicitation/amendment will be mailed or faxed.
