Description
SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE This is not a Request for Quote. The government does not intend to award a contract from the results of this Sources Sought Notice. The applicable North Atlantic Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this requirement is 812320 and the small business size standard is $32.5M. The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Fort Knox is conducting a market survey in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10.001 to determine the capabilities of all businesses interested in Laundry, and Dry Cleaning services for the Logistics Readiness Center (LRC), Fort Knox, KY during the base period of 1 April 2015 through 31 March 2015 with a one year option period. This requirement is for laundry and/or dry-cleaning services for organizations assigned to Fort Knox and other Department of Defense Components such as National Guard, Reserve, Cadet Command and other government agencies within Fort Knox's support area. The contractor shall provide the workforce necessary to satisfactorily perform all service required, which may include but are not limited to the following; Bulk laundry services, dry cleaning, ironing, neutralization, pre-spotting, pressing, piece count, and wet cleaning. The contractor shall be capable of picking up, laundering and returning all items within three business days. The Contractor shall furnish the following items: Sheets; Pillows; Pillowcases; Mattress Covers; and Blankets. Up to24,000 Twin-XL 39 quote mark x 80 quote mark mattress covers, 10,000Twin-XL 39 quote mark x 80 quote mark at one time from 1 May thru 1 September annually to be issued during their summer training. Other required mattress covers will measure (Twin) 39 quote mark x 75 quote mark. Potential offerors must be able to perform the entire requirement. If your company is unable to perform the entire requirement, provide information regarding the portions your company is able to provide. Please limit your response to no more than 5 pages and include the following: 1. Business Information: company name, address, point of contact, phone number, email address, D&B Duns Number, and business size and classification (i.e., small business, 8(a), woman-owned, service-disabled veteran-owned, HUBZone, large business, etc.). 2. Capability Information: Describe your overall capabilities, experience, and resources for performing a contract of this type. Describe your ability to manage a contract of similar size and scope. Responses to this notice may contain company proprietary information and must be marked accordingly. The government shall not be liable for or suffer any consequential damages for any technical information identified (e.g., limited and/or restricted rights). This is a market research tool being used to determine procurement strategy. Responses to this announcement must be received no later than 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, February 3, 2015. Responses should be emailed to James Hurt; james.hurt.civ@mail.mil. No extensions will be granted and no responses will be accepted after this closing date. Responses must be in writing and submitted electronically to James Hurt at james.hurt.civ@mail.mil. Responses should also include the Sources Sought number in the subject line of the email message.
