Description

This is a market survey concerning the repairs of FLIR Star Safire III (quantity of 12, part numbers 3290003-305 and 3290003-303) and Star Safire HD (quantity of 4, part number 3290004-301). Currently, the only known source is FLIR Systems, Inc., Wilsonville, OR. The NAICS Code for this requirement is 811219: Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance with a size standard of $19.0M. The responses to this market survey will be used for informational purposes only. This is not a screening information request or request for proposal of any kind. The FAA is not seeking or accepting proposals at this time. The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to the market survey. Therefore any cost associated with the market survey submission is solely at the interested vendor ™s expense. The purpose of this market survey is to solicit statements of interest and capabilities from small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses and 8(a) certified firms, capable of providing repairs for Safire III and Safire HD cameras. This market survey is also being conducted in order to obtain the information necessary to determine whether adequate competition exists to set-aside the competition among small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses or 8(a) certified firms. Interested firms are required to submit the attached Business Declaration form and a copy of their SBA 8(a) certification letter, if applicable. In order to make this determination the FAA requires the following from interested vendors: 1. Capability Statement - This document should identify: Capability of repairing Safire III and Safire HD cameras Number of years in business Please respond by reviewing the specifications as listed above and submit a filled-out and signed copy of the Business Declaration form and your company ™s Capability Statement (please submit electronically, email to address below). All responses to this market survey must be received by Wednesday, February 4, 2015, 5:00 CST (Oklahoma Time).
