- The Defense Media Activity, in support of Defense Visual Information Records Center (DVIRC), wishes to contract for Media Storage/Inventory and Mailroom Services. The services required by this contract include the following: The service of this acquisition is to perform visual information (VI) physical material storage/inventory and mailroom operation as specified. Storage/inventory Service: receiving, storing/retrieval/inventory control, and delivery/pickup using Seer/MIMS to operate the ASRS. The Destruction of VI material as directed by the government. Mailroom Services: mail and package receipt, physical inspection, and sorting/distribution/mailboxes. This mailroom processes all authorized incoming and outgoing mail, package, and shipment for FedEx, USPS, and other carriers. This is a firm-fixed price contract. The period of performance will include a 12-month base period and four 12-month option periods. Services are performed at the DVIRC at 23755 Z St in Riverside California. This acquisition is unrestricted-open to both large and small businesses. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 561110, and threshold is 7.5 million. The Request For Proposal will be posted to this web site on or about 13 February 2015.
