Description

Naval Surface Ware Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) Philadelphia, intends to acquire the services of DRS Training and Control Systems in the manufacturing of CTM Analog Sensor Cables through sole source negotiations. The contractor shall provide the necessary equipment and personnel to manufacture 94 each of the analog cables (P/N 07030417-27), there is proprietary data involved and therefore this subject requirement is being negotiated with the OEM, DRS, located in FT. Walton Beach, FL. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive offers, However, all offers received prior to the closing date will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contrace is based solely within the discretion of the Government. The Purchase Order shall be Firm Fixed-Price and award shall be made using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under FAR PART 13.
