- CANCELLATION NOTICE:This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.The solicitation number is W56HZV-15-T-A224 and is issued as an invitation for bids (IFB), unless otherwise indicated herein.The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-79. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 326199 with a small business size standard of 750.00 employees.This requirement is a [ Small Business ] set-aside and only qualified offerors may submit bids.The solicitation pricing on www.FedBid.com will start on the date this solicitation is posted and will end on 2015-02-02 11:30:00.0 Eastern Time or as otherwise displayed at www.FedBid.com.FOB Destination shall be warren, MI 48397 The WRN - Warren requires the following items, Purchase Description Determined by Line Item, to the following: LI 001: 24" Cube Case with foam insert FFP The contractor shall provide 24? Cube Case must be an watertight, airtight, dustproof, polypropylene crush resistant, two integrated automatic pressure equalization valves to keep moisture out and prevent vacuum lock so the case is easier to open at any altitude, stainless steel hardware and padlock protectors, easy open double throw latches, 2-person fold down handles, multiple hinges, open cell core with solid wall design, and stackable design. This case must meet the following dimensions: external dimensions 26.5? L x 26.5? W x 25.25? D, Internal dimensions 24? L x 24? W x 24? D. The 0370 case must have custom polyethylene foam insert cut to fit 2 each of Part Number: DTA125145 (attachment 001- Wheel Tie-Down provisions weldment). The custom molded EPE (polyethylene foam) must be black in color, weather, UV resistant, moisture protection, anti-friction, anti-aging and rot durability, and crush resistant. FOB: Destination PURCHASE REQUEST NUMBER: 0010613266, 84, EA; LI 002: Large Transport Case with foam insert FFP The contractor shall provide a Large Stackable Transport Case it must be watertight, airtight, dustproof, polypropylene crush resistant case, two integrated automatic pressure equalization valves to keep moisture out and prevent vacuum lock so the case is easier to open at any altitude, removable lid to serve as a platform for stationary equipment, stainless steel hardware and padlock protectors, three easy open double throw latches, large 2-person fold down handles, multiple hinges, open cell core with solid wall design, and stackable design. This case must meet the following dimensions: external dimensions 39.95? L x 23.45? W x 28.65? D, Internal dimensions 34.95? L x 18.45? W x 25.25? D. The case must have custom polyethylene foam inserts cut to fit the following parts; DTA215167 (reference attachment 003-Spreader Bar Assembly), (2) DTA215133 (reference attachment 002-Suspension Shackle Assembly, LH), (2) 333/E7204 (reference attachment 004-Shackle-Screw pin 1/18?), (1) H-4660A (attachment 005-Clip-on Air Chuck). The custom molded EPE (polyethylene foam) must be black in color, weather, UV resistant, moisture protection, anti-friction, anti-aging and rot durability, and crush resistant. FOB: Destination PURCHASE REQUEST NUMBER: 0010613266, 84, EA; LI 003: NON-PRICING CLIN: First Article Testing FFP The government will conduct First Article Testing in accordance with FAR 52.209-4 First Article Approval-Government Testing. The contractor shall deliver (2) two cubed transport cases with foam insert(s) to fit (2) two each of DTA215145 (reference attachment 001-Wheel Tie-Down provisions weldment24). The Government First Article Testing will be assessed on a pass/fail basis according to how the components referenced above in this section fit inside the custom molded EPE polyurethane foam insert, and designated transport case. The contractor shall ensure that each component fits snugly into polyurethane foam insert and specified case with lids fastened shut, this is to prevent excessive movement during air transportation. Drawings will be attached in a seperate email. SHIP TO: Shipping and Receiving, Building 200E 6501 E. 11 Mile Road Warren, MI 48397-5000 RDTA-DP FOB: Destination, 2, EA; LI 004: NON-PRICING CLIN: First Article Testing FFP The government will conduct First Article Testing in accordance with FAR 52.209-4 First Article Approval-Government Testing. The Government First Article Testing will be assessed on a pass/fail basis according to how the components referenced above in this section fit inside the custom molded EPE polyurethane foam insert, and designated transport cases. The contractor shall ensure that each component fits snugly into EPE polyurethane foam insert and specified cases with lids fastened shut, this is to prevent excessive movement during air transportation. Drawings will be attached in a seperate email. SHIP TO: Shipping and Receiving, Building 200E 6501 E. 11 Mile Road Warren, MI 48397-5000 RDTA-DP FOB: Destination, 2, EA; Solicitation and Buy Attachments ***Question Submission: Interested offerors must submit any questions concerning the solicitation at the earliest time possible to enable the Buyer to respond. Questions not received within a reasonable time prior to close of the solicitation may not be considered.*** For this solicitation, WRN - Warren intends to conduct an online competitive reverse auction to be facilitated by the third-party reverse auction provider, FedBid, Inc. FedBid has developed an online, anonymous, browser based application to conduct the reverse auction. An Offeror may submit a series of pricing bids, which descend in price during the specified period of time for the aforementioned reverse auction. WRN - Warren is taking this action in an effort to improve both vendor access and awareness of requests and the agency's ability to gather multiple, competed, real-time bids.All responsible Offerors that respond to this solicitation MUST submit the pricing portion of their bid using the online exchange located at www.FedBid.com.
