Description
MOTOROLA APX 7500 DIGITAL VEHICLE RADIO STATEMENT OF WORK B.1 GENERAL INFORMATION Title of Project: Purchase of the APX 7000 Digital Portable Radio Scope of Work: The Contractor shall provide all necessary travel, labor, equipment, configuration and training required. Location of services provided: All work shall be performed at the Department of Veterans Affairs 1670 Clairmont Road, Decatur GA. Period of Performance: 60 Days from the date of award B.1.1 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS The following Statement of Work (SOW) provides the requirements and specifications for the purchase the APX 7000 Digital Portable Radio. The lessor, and all security consultants, electricians, contractors, and subcontractors (hereafter referred to as "the contractor") must read and fully understand this SOW. All requirements contained in this SOW must be met and must meet minimum industry standards. Product substitutions are not permitted without the express written approval of the Contracting Officer or the designated Contracting Officer Representative. The contractor must document all proposed changes in writing and receive approval from the Contracting Officer (CO) or the designated Contracting Officer Representative (COR) prior to implementation. If a substitution is made without written permission, the contractor may have to replace the parts in question without delay and at no cost to the government. Additional fees or expenses for items not specifically addressed by the SOW or the Contracting Officer will not be approved. The contractor will take guidance only from the Contracting Officer or the designated Contracting Officer Representative and not from any other individual. The Contracting Officer Representative will be designated in writing and introduced to the contractor prior to the start of the project. For every task, the contractor shall identify in writing all necessary subtasks (if any), associated costs by task, and together with associated submilestone dates. The contractor's subtask structure shall be reflected in the technical proposal and detailed work plan. The contractor will provide operator training to the employees selected by the Contracting Officer Representative and will distribute associated User Guides to the local user. B.1.2 SPECIFIC MANDATORY TASKS AND ASSOCIATED DELIVERABLES The APX 7500 Digital Vehicle Radio and APX 7000 Digital Portable Radio shall be used primarily for any Police communication between officers and other agencies. The contractor shall set up and configure the APX 7500 Digital Vehicle Radio and APX 7000 Digital Portable Radio to ensure proper performance. B.1.4 GOVERNMENT RESPONSIBILITIES The Government shall be responsible for making the area available to Contractor during normal business hours 7:00 am - 5:00 pm. If there is a need for work to be done after hours, the Government will make arrangements for Contractor. B.B.1.5 CHANGES TO STATEMENT OF WORK Any changes to this SOW shall be authorized and approved only through written correspondence from the Contracting Officer. A copy of each change will be kept in a project folder along with all other products of the project. Costs incurred by the contractor through the actions of parties other than the Contracting Officer shall be borne by the contractor. B.1.6 CONFIDENTIALITY AND NONDISCLOSURE It is agreed that: 1. The preliminary and final deliverables and all associated working papers, application source code, and other material deemed relevant by VA which has been generated by the contractor in the performance of this task order are the exclusive property of the U.S. Government and shall be submitted to the Contracting Officer at the conclusion of the contract. 2. The Contracting Officer will be the sole authorized official to release verbally or in writing, any data, the draft deliverables, the final deliverables, or any other written or printed materials pertaining to this task order. No information shall be released by the contractor. Any request for information relating to this task order presented to the contractor shall be submitted to the Contracting Officer for response.
