- Description
- 2. For section 4.5.8. it was discussed to perform primary current injection testing of all circuit breakers at 300% for time-current verification. The spec calls for the breakers to be tested at 3 multiples of relay tap current. Is it correct to say that the intent is to test the breakers at 300% only? No response. Follow SOW at this time. 3. Is there a breaker size cutoff for primary current testing. Industry standard is to test all breakers 400A and above. No response. Follow SOW at this time. 4. Section 4.5.9. states that an Infrared scan be performed on the electrical distribution system. Will this IR scan take place prior to the commencement of the PM in order to outline the problem areas and be able to perform any repairs as needed? Yes it can be done prior. 5. What size of 480-208Y120 dry-type transformers do you wish to have serviced in coordination with the PM? And are you intending on just the transformers in the rooms outlined in the spec to be serviced? Include all existing dry type transformer in all Buildings. This Information is on the One Lines drawings. 6. Request one-line drawings. Done. 7. Request coordination study for settings verification. Done. 8. It was noticed that a few of the transformers had a vacuum of about 1-2 psi which can be detrimental to the insulation of the transformer. Would you like us to add in the proposal the cost of placing a dry Nitrogen blanket of 1-2 psi of pressure on the transformers? "Add this item as a deduct option.
