- N0016415RGP12 - AN/SLQ-48 ALTIMETER TRANSDUCERS- FSG- 5845 NAICS- 334419 Anticipated Issue Date 18 FEB 2015 - Anticipated Closing Date 20 MAR 2015 - 4:00 PM EDT Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division has a requirement for AN/SLQ-48 Altimeter Transducers (NSN 5845014066003). The anticipated Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINs) are as follows: CLIN 0001 AN/SLQ-48 Altimeter Transducers, CLIN 0002 option AN/SLQ-48 Altimeter Transducers, and CLIN 0003 Data. The anticipated Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract will require a quantity of 10 AN/SLQ-48 Altimeter Transducers due 180 days after contract award with an option for an additional 5 AN/SLQ-48 Altimeter Transducers. Inspection and acceptance will be at destination by Government personnel with an acceptance period of 30 days. Delivery shall be FOB Destination to NSWC Crane, 300 Hwy 361, Crane, IN 47552-5001. The anticipated contract is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The proposed contract action will be solicited and negotiated with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. An offer will be solicited from EDO Western Corporation, commonly referred to as EXELIS Radar, Reconnaissance, and Acoustic Systems, 2645 South 300 West, Salt Lake City, UT 84115. EDO Western Corporation is the only company certified by NAVSEA to manufacture the AN/SLQ-48 Altimeter Transducer. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or to submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received in response to this synopsis will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database for contract award. Contractors interested in responding with a valid proposal may obtain information in SAM via the internet at www.sam.gov. The Technical Data Package (TDP) is subject to Distribution Statement D. Access to the TDP requires contractors to be active in SAM and the Joint Certificate Program (JCP). More information about the JCP is located at www.dlis.dla.mil/jcp. The solicitation will not be available for download but may be made available upon request. Offers must be submitted in the format specified within the solicitation to be considered. It is the responsibility of the offerors to request a copy of the solicitation and to submit offers to the point of contact at NSWC Crane to be considered.
