- Description
- AN/SPN-43C Industry Day March 20-21, 2012 Brief Final Q&As from 2013 Industry Day Draft Q&As from 2013 Industry Day 02 February 2015 RESPONSE NOT REQUIRED The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) tentatively plans to conduct a full an open competition for the AN/SPN-50 (V)(1) Shipboard Air Traffic Radar (SATR)Technology and Risk Reduction phase with an option for the Engineering and Manufacturing Development phase as addressed in the FEDBIZZOPPS synopsis of 23 December 2014. On 23 January 2015, NAVAIR erroneously issued two documents from previous SPN-43C Industry Days to a potential offeror for the SPN-50 program. These documents are entitled "Draft Q&As from 2013 Industry Day" and "SPN-43C RadarSetCapabilities Brief". These documents are attached to this synopsis. The "Draft Q&As from 2013 Industry Day" contains several errors that were ultimately corrected. The corrected Q&As were provided to the Industry participants in the 2013 SPN-43C Industry Day and are attached to this synopsis at the file entitled "Final Q&As from 2013 Industry Day". The "SPN-43C RadarSetCapabilities Brief" was presented at the 2012 SPN-43C Industry Day and is also attached to this synopsis. The PMA-213 Procuring Contracting Officer (PCO) has asked PMA-213 personnel to refrain from discussing the AN/SPN-50 SATAR Program with Industry. Please direct any questions or comments to Ms. Virginia Perry-Aldridge (Contract Specialist) at virginia.perry-aldri@navy.mil [phone (301) 342-9920] or Mr. Dan Gentry (PCO) at william.gentry@navy.mil [phone (301) 757-7069].
