THIS SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY AND IS NOT TO BE CONSTRUED AS A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT FOR PROPOSAL AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. This sources sought is issued for the purposes of Market Research and to determine the appropriate Small Business Sourcing Strategy for this acquisition, if any. Under the North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) 541519, the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 23, Fargo VA Health Care System has a seeks a services solution to automate nursing resource management processes. These include, but are not limited to: nurse scheduling and staffing activities; real-time decision support for staffing management, enhance the availability of data and information relevant to patient care and deployment of nursing assets. This system will be cloud ready. Objectives 1.Implement an automated, cloud-ready, product and software management service specifically tailored for managing nurse staffing and nursing assets throughout a health care system of inpatient, outpatient and remote services. 2.Incorporate a single systems solution. 3.Match staff in numbers, skill and competency to support the acuity and needs of patients. 4.Reduce the time and costs associated with scheduling and staffing activities. 5.Manage budgets and costs. 6.Accurately track staff movement. 7.Use real-time data to support nurse staffing and nurse staff management decisions. 8.Retrieve and organize data through a robust reports mechanism. 9. Limited training required to learn system NAICS Code and Title: 541519 Other Computer Related Services. Small Business Size Standard: 150 Employees All applicable small businesses, with a firm intention to bid on this requirement, are encouraged to respond. The statement of capabilities should include: 1.Firm name, address, e-mail, telephone and fax numbers 2.Business size as indicated in SAM and applicable NAICS codes. 3.Past Experience - describe your experience of similar type, size and complexity to that which is the subject of this Sources Sought. 4.Your firms Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) 5.System for Award Management (SAM) registered NAICS Codes. Responses to this Sources Sought Notice can be either Mailed to: Department of Veterans Affairs, Fargo VA HCS, Contracting Office (attn: Chris Volk), 2101 Elm Street, Fargo, ND 58102, or sent via email to Christopher.Volk@va.gov. All responses must be received no later than 02/09/2015. If response is sent via email, vendor is responsible to confirm receipt as server limitations can restrict delivery of large files.
