Description
The 36th Contracting Squadron (36 CONS) is currently seeking sources for a service requirement for a TEMPORARY CORROSION CONTROL FACILITY at Andersen AFB, GU. This is not a solicitation announcement. This notice neither constitutes a Request for Proposal, nor does it restrict 36 CONS to an ultimate acquisition approach. No contract will be awarded from this announcement and requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement. Any information submitted by respondents to this notice is strictly voluntary. This Sources Sought Notice is in support of market research being conducted by 36 CONS to determine potential sources capable of fulfilling all requirements associated TEMPORARY CORROSION CONTROL FACILITY on Andersen AFB, GU. The goal of the Government is to Lease a temporary portable structure(s) (TPS) to be used for corrosion control. The goal will be a base plus four (4) option years contract. The structure(s) must be: IAW Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) 4-211-02 Aircraft Corrosion Control and Paint Facilities. 1 Dec 12. Air Force Corrosion Control Facility Reference Guide. www.afcpo.com. Local/AAFB Environmental laws, OSHA and Safety regulations apply. Be no larger than 100' long by 50' wide. Be no less than 20' tall at center. Must accommodate two government provided paint booths inside the structure(s) Paint booths measurements are 16' wide by 25'4" long by 11'6" tall. Paint booths will be supplied by the Government and installed by the manufacturer. Paint booths will be exhausted through the skin of structure by manufacturer. Paint booths must have fire suppression provided and installed by leasing agent IAW item 1 above. Paint booths must have 2 each 110v UFC compliant electrical outlets connected to the TPS power supply. Outlets, power and connection shall be installed by leasing agent IAW item 1 above. Paint booth must be plumbed for compressed air ending in Air hose reels with a moisture separating apparatus, supplied and installed by leasing agent IAW item 1 above. TPS must have 110v electrical power for lighting, air conditioning, and outlets TPS must have temperature and humidity controls IAW item 1 above.(air conditioning) TPS must have a fire suppression IAW item 1 above. TPS must have a hazardous storage container (hsc). No less than 20'long by 8'wide by 9'tall. IAW item 1 above. HSC must also meet UFC 4-211-02. TPS must be plumbed for compressed air. Leasing agent shall provide and install a large air holding tank and air compressor. TPS must have no less than 2 Air hose reels with a moisture separating apparatus, supplied and installed by leasing agent IAW item 1 above on each wall. TPS must have floor capable of supporting 5000lbs/sqft. Floor must also provide contamination prevention to the area surrounding or beneath TPS. TPS must be built in a manor to sustain all in-climate weather for Guam. Leasing agent shall be responsible for any and all damage to TPS and all equipment inside due to weather. Water, Sewer, Electricity will be available on sight; however, leasing agent shall furnish and install all equipment necessary to make connection to TPS. The designated NAICS Code is 624221.
