Description

The Medium Altitude Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) Division (AFLCMC/WIIK) intends to award an order on a sole source basis to Raytheon - McKinney for MTS-B FY15 production effort for the Predator/Reaper program. This notice is not a request for competitive proposal. The proposed contract will include FY15 MST-B Production requirements and associated Spares. Raytheon Space and Airborne System - McKinney has been identified as the only firm that possesses the necessary, knowledge, experience, and technical data required to perform this effort. The Government does not own full data rights to the system; therefore to avoid duplication cost, the Government intends to award the effort pursuant to the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.301-1. The FY15 requirement is listed below: Up to a max quantity of 49 FY15 MTS-B Turret Unit, MTS B Turret Containers, MTS B High Definition Electronics Units (HDEU), HDEU Containers, 1 Lot MTS B initial SRU/Spares. The National American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement action is 336413. Please indicate number of employees relative to the size standard of 1,000 for determination of small business status.
