Description

1) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. 2) This solicitation, VA244-15-Q-0443 is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) Firm Fixed Price contract. Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) is being used for the solicitation. 3) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-79. 4) The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code proposed for the requirement is 238290 and the small business size standard is $15 million. 5) A site visit is scheduled for February 10, 2015 at 10:00am at the Pittsburgh Healthcare System, University Drive C, Pittsburgh, PA 15240 in Bldg 1 Room AN222. Interested vendors must submit names of attendees to William.macdougall@va.gov by 11:00a.m on Monday, February 9, 2015. 6) PROPOSAL DUE DATE: Offerors must submit quotes via email before the due date of February 23, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. EST. Quotes that are mailed, faxed or late will not be accepted. Quotes should be emailed to william.macdougall@va.gov. The NCO04 Commodities Team #1 intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract. Resultant contract will be awarded to the Offeror whose proposal conforms to this combined Synopsis/Solicitation, is deemed acceptable, and provides the best value based on the evaluation factors in the solicitation. 7) QUESTIONS & ANSWERS: All questions and inquiries about this solicitation must be submitted in writing to william.macdougall@va.gov on or before February 13, 2015 by 1:00 PM EST. All responses to questions, which may affect offers, will be incorporated into a written amendment to the solicitation.
