PRE-SOLICITATION NOTIFICATION Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) San Francisco VA Medical Center Network Contracting Office (VISN 21) 4150 Clement Street San Francisco, CA 94121 Acquisition is a total Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set aside (SA) Solicitation Number: VA261-15-R-0247 Project Title: Construct Chiller Replacement Bldg 201 Project Number: 612-14-035 Project Location: Mare Island, Building 201, VA Outpatient Clinic Projected Price Range: Between $250,000 and $500,000 Acquisition shall be Sealed Bid in accordance with FAR 14 Sealed Bidding RFP to be issued VIA Email to VA MATOC holders RFP shall be issued on or around February 5, 2015 Pre-Proposal Conference (site visit) shall take place on February 12, 2015 Location: 201 Walnut Ave. Vallejo, CA 91592, building 201 Mare Island VA Outpatient Clinic Date: February 12, 2015 Time: 10:00 AM- 11:00 AM Applicable NAICS Code is 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, Size Standard $33.5 million GENERAL REQUIREMENTS The Contractor will provide all labor, materials, equipment, services and supervision necessary to remove the existing water cooled chiller and install two new high efficiency 75 ton each water cooled chillers. The contractor will provide and install associated piping to tie into existing chilled water pumps and existing condenser water pumps, update BMS for new chillers and accessories, and provide and install refrigerant leak detection system. Work will be accomplished without major outage of chilled water services. Some work will need to be performed outside regular business hours if deemed disruptive by the COR. Period of Performance- 120 calendar days after NTP
