- Description
- U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), a component of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), intends to solicit an innovative Statement of Objectives (SOO) that addresses the needs of ICE in order to contract for Family Case Management Services for the Chicago, Illinois metropolitan region. The scope of this effort aims to promote compliance with participants' release conditions, including any required reporting to ICE Enforcement and Removals Operations (ERO), immigration court hearings, and final orders of removal, while allowing them to remain in the community and maintain access to community services for the duration of the removal process. The contractor shall develop and implement an individualized Family Service Plan (FSP) and perform services in accordance with the requirements of the Statement of Objectives at contractor locations based upon a family unit's case and circumstances. The FSP shall provide the participant with recommendations on how to participate in the program successfully. The scale of this effort is dependent on the number of enrollments, but should accommodate a minimum of 40 Heads of Household up to a maximum of 300 Heads of Household, depending on enrollment and funding demands. The Government anticipates awarding a five (5) years and six (6) months Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Option Year contract using fixed unit pricing. The Service Contract Act is applicable to this acquisition. All required clauses and provisions will be identified in the solicitation and resulting contractual instrument. This procurement is being competed to the open market. The anticipated release date of the solicitation is on or about February 19, 2015. The solicitation closing date will be sixty (60) days after release of the Request for Proposal (RFP). Amendments to this synopsis will be made as needed and posted to FedBizOpps.gov.
