- MARKET RESEARCH/REQUEST FOR INFORMATION. NO SOLICITATION DOCUMENT EXISTS. The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Jacksonville is conducting a market survey to determine the availability of vendors capable to provide commercial high-resolution Multi-Spectral Imagery (MSI) and Panchromatic (PAN) imagery that can be used at Naval Oceanographic Office ( NAVOCEANO) for further processing using the Navy Feature Extraction Algorithms (FEXALs) to extract bathymetry, sub-surface hazards, and anomalies. The anticipated period(s) will span five (5) years consisting of one (1) year base period and four (4) twelve month option periods beginning around 30 March 2015. A firm fixed price contract is anticipated. It is anticipated that the Request for Quote will be issued at the end of February 2015. Interested vendors are requested to submit a capability statement outlining their ability to meet or exceed this potential requirement no later than 4:00 pm (Eastern Standard Time), 09 February 2015, stating their business size, as well as a point of contact. The government will use the results of this announcement to determine whether the acquisition of the above described requirement should be solicited as a small business set-aside, or whether full and open competitive procedures should be utilized. The Government will not pay or provide reimbursement for any costs incurred in the preparation or delivery of the request for information.
