Description

VA786-15-R-0081 Pre Solicitation Notice for Electrical Project Services For Fort Custer National Cemetery, Augusta, MI RFP VA786-15-R-0081 - The Contractor shall furnish all personnel, supervision, professional expertise, vehicles, tools, materials, services, equipment and quality control necessary to: "This project is for various general construction improvements to the buildings at Fort Custer National Cemetery, Augusta, Michigan. The work includes the replacement of the backflow prevention valves in Pump House 2 and also includes in the Maintenance/Employee Building the replacement of the control panel and electrical circuit breakers, the replacement of an electrical main feed conduit as well as the removal of the old wall unit heat pumps and the installation of a new ductless electric heat pump system. The work includes site investigation to verify all measurements and site conditions before start of the work and the ordering of any materials. The work includes shop drawings and submittals to be approved for all materials to be used. All work shall be performed in a professional workmanship like manner. All adjacent disturbed surfaces shall be repaired to the same quality standards of the existing work and shall also match the adjacent areas. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- BID ITEMS: A. Base Bid shall be for all work described in this scope except: the old wall unit heat pump removals and the installation of a new ductless electric heat pump system. Completion Time: 30-calendar days from Notice to Proceed B. Add Alternate Bid shall be the cost to ADD the old wall unit heat pump removals and the installation of a new ductless electric heat pump (We need a total price for just these 2 items [removal and replacement of heat pumps], in case funding were to become available). Completion Time: 60-calendar days from Notice to Proceed Project will be for a 30 days, if alternate bid 2 is accepted the completion time will be 60 days. This acquisition is for a 100% Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside. North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code 238210 is applicable. Please reference Solicitation Number RFP VA786-15-R-0081 on remittances. An electronic solicitation will be available for download from www.FedBizOpps.gov on or about February 03, 2015. Responses to the solicitation are due by 2:00 p.m., February 27, 2015. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments to the solicitation which is available at Fed Biz Opps.
