Description
Mission and Installation Contracting Command(MICC) Fort Eustis, Vessels Division, Fort Eustis, Virginia, anticipates awarding a competitive Firm-Fixed Price, single award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a twelve (12) month base period and four (4) one-year option periods to provide employees/facilities for Programmed and Unprogrammed Drydocking, Cleaning, Painting, Repairs and Modifications of U.S. Army Active and Reserve watercraft stationed at Muhammad Al-Ahmad Naval Base and Camp Arifjan, Kuwait, in support of the U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command (TACOM) and the Watercraft Inspection Branch (WIB). There are 34 vessels in Kuwait; three (3) Logistics Support Vessels (LSV 1/6); eleven (11) Landing Craft Utility (LCU-2000); two (2) Large Tugs (LT-800); two (2) Small Tugs (ST-900); two (2) Crane Barge Derricks (BD-6800); six (6) Landing Craft Mechanized (LCM 8, Mod 1); two (2) Landing Craft Mechanized (LCM 8, Mod 2); six (6) Warping Tugs (WT)/Causeway Ferries (CF). The area of consideration for this procurement will be the state of Kuwait only. Qualifications are based on the contractor's ability to obtain an Army Master Vessel Agreement (MVA) in accordance with DFARS Subpart 217.7100-Master Agreement for Repair and Alteration of Vessels. The anticipated solicitation posting date is on or about 26 February 2015. The applicable NAICS code is 336611, Ship Building and Repair, with a size standard of 1,000 employees. No paper copies of the solicitation will be issued. All documents including the solicitation, W911S0-15-R-0003, and all amendments to the solicitation will be obtainable via the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) website https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi. Contractors are strongly cautioned to check the website periodically for amendments.
