- The Mission and Installation Contracting Command Joint Base Lewis-McChord (MICC-JBLM) is posting a notice of award for International Organization for Standardization (ISO) Container Maintenance/Repair services at JBLM, WA. The contract action was accomplished using competitive procedures. The contractor services call for personnel, management, labor, materials, equipment, and other related items to maintain and restore ISO containers to the standard of Military Handbook (MIL HDBK) 138B, Guide to Container Inspection for Commercial and Military Intermodal Containers. The maintenance includes inspecting, testing, adjusting, aligning, replacing, welding, grinding, riveting, straightening, machining, or resurfacing to restore serviceability of the containers by correcting specific damage, fault; malfunction or failure to a part, subassembly, item, or system. The services will be performed at the contractor's facility for items requiring other than minimal repairs. The services requiring minimal repairs will be performed at the designated location in the container yard located on JBLM.
