- 354th Contracting Squadron awarded a firm-fixed price contract as an 8(a) direct award for Transient Alert services to be performed on Eielson AFB, Alaska from 2 Feb 2015 to 31 Dec 2015. Contractor to perform transient alert services for Eielson AFB in accordance with the performance work statement and the contract terms and conditions. The acquisition was first procured under a competitive 8(a) solicitation, and this contract will be a sole source 8(a) direct award to a SBA approved Alaska 8(a) firm. Authority used for other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(5), in accordance with DFARS PGI 219.811-1(2).
