- PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE NOTICE CAREFULLY AS IT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY NOTICE THAT WILL BE ISSUED This synopsis is being posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at https://www.fbo.gov. This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Request For Quotation (RFQ) number is N66604-15-Q-0862. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-78. NAICS Code is 511210 and size standard is $38.5M. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order on an unrestricted basis for the following Dell hardware: (1) Dell EqualLogic PS6510X Storage Arrays, Dell P/Ns 224-7571, 342-4826, 468-8817, 468-7110, 468-7155, 468-7156, P/N 907-5212, 907-5238, 908-8539, 968-4782, 968-4815, 968-4818, 898-3439, 907-5232), two (2) each; (2) Dell EqualLogic FS7610 Controller, Dell P/Ns 225-3326, 634-BBKS, 406-BBCQ, 973-2426, two (2) each; and (3) Dell EqualLogic FS7610 10G Enclosure, Dell P/Ns 225-3553, 332-0227,, 967-3429, 967-3430, 967-3442, 967-3480, 967-3483, 967-3538, 967-3552, 989-3439, 967-3712, 931-9857, 926-2979, 973-2426, 994-3849, one (1) each; 310-8509, two (2) each. Required delivery is 30 days ADC. F.O.B. Destination Naval Station, Newport; Newport, RI. Payment terms are electronic invoicing through wide area workflow (WAWF). The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit on a sole make and model for Dell products - only authorized Dell resellers and no substitutes allowed. It is necessary to expand the existing simulation data capacity in the Weapons Analysis Facility (WAF) by integrating Dell EqualLogic hardware into the existing Dell Force 10 Switch. No other hardware is completely compatible and interchangeable with the existing Dell Force 10 Switch. Offers for other products must submit a capability statement demonstrating an ability to meet the requirement, proposal, or quote which must contain complete product information and prices. FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items applies. Evaluation will be in accordance with FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation - Commercial Items. Evaluation factors are technical capability, price and past performance. Each is equally important. FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions--Commercial Items and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items, apply to this solicitation. The following addenda or additional terms and conditions apply: In accordance with DFAR Clause 252.211-7003 the contractor shall provide a unique item identifier (UID) for all delivered items for which the Governments unit acquisition cost is $5,000.00 or more. The UID labels shall be affixed to the items prior to shipping. Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) rating of DO-C9 applies. This solicitation requires registration with the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award, pursuant to applicable regulations and guidelines.
