- The National Science Foundation, Directorate of Education and Human Resources, is seeking a contractor to provide the Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP) with the operational and technical support needed to select individuals early in their careers with the demonstrated potential to be high achieving scientists and engineers. This includes outreach to broaden participation in science and engineering of underrepresented groups, including women, minorities, persons with disabilities, and veterans. The work to be performed under the Statement of Work (SOW) comprises a comprehensive and integrated set of tasks including updating application and outreach materials, supporting awardee selection, and maintaining, reporting and analyzing data. This is a presolicitation notice only and not a solicitation or Request for Proposal (RFP) document; proposals are not being solicited or accepted at this time. The projected date for the issuance of the solicitation is on or about February 24, 2015. The solicitation will be available on the Federal Business Opportunity (FedBizOpps) site only. NSF intends to procure on an unrestrictive basis in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 15. The government anticipates awarding a single-award contract to the offering party providing the best value to the Government. The performance period of any resultant contract will be a one (1) year base year and four (4) one year options. The anticipated award date is June 1, 2015. All required clauses and provisions will be identified in the solicitation and resulting contractual instrument.
