- This acquisition is for an Indefinite Quantity, Fixed Price contract. FAR Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items. The proposed procurement is for a 3 year base period with the option to extend the contract period one of more times at the discretion of the Government. The total shall not exceed 5 years.
