Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Medical Center, Hampton, VA NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT using Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1 (only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Mizuho OSI for the procurement of a PRO-Axis spinal surgery table/bed. The Government intends on awarding a sole source award IAW 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii) if no responses are received. All responses received within five (5) days after date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than 12:00 PM Eastern Time, Friday, January 11, 2015. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. There is no solicitation document associated with this notice.
