- Description: SOURCES SOUGHT FOR Circuit Card Repair. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Division, Contracting Division, Joint Base San Antonio - Lackland Texas, 78243, is seeking sources capable of providing repairs to printed circuit boards that are no longer supported by their original equipment manufacturers (OEM). General categories of the circuit cards and repair services are described below. This notice is for planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a formal solicitation or an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any items or services. The Government is not liable for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this request for information. The purpose of this request for information is to determine the capability of potential sources and the availability of sources pursuant to FAR Part 10. This is open to both large and small businesses. No technical data/drawing/technical orders are available. If a firm believes it is capable of providing this service, please send an email to the Contracting Officer within fifteen days of this announcement. Those interested firms must indicate whether they are a large, small, small disadvantaged, 8(a) or women owned business and whether they are located in U.S. or foreign owned. An Ombudsman has been appointed to consider and facilitate the resolution of concerns from offerors, potential offerors, and others for this acquisition. Before consulting the Ombudsman concerned parties should first address their concerns, issues, disagreements, and/or recommendation to the Contracting Officer for resolution. In addition, AFFARS 5352.201-9101, Ombudsman, will be included in this acquisition's solicitation and contract. The point of contact for the Ombudsman is Ms. Jill Willingham, AFLCMC/AQP, 1790 10 th Street, Wright Patterson AFB, OH, 45433-7630, jill.willingham.1@us.af.mil. Salient Characteristics of the circuit cards and services needed: a. We are looking for sources that can perform repairs and verify fault correction on printed circuit boards including (but not limited to) complex signal processing PCIe or PCIx cards, PC or server motherboards and backplanes and other similar type of electronics. b. Typically, no technical data/drawings/technical orders are available from the government; the repair source will have to identify and locate technical data. c. The government may require a warranty for the repair work, a written descriptions of any faults found, and test results showing the faults have been repaired.
