- MCS Upgrade.IU Server Specification. MCS Upgrade.IU Server Specification This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Market research was conducted and it was determined that at least two small business could supply the items required. This procurement is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. This announcement constitutes the request for proposals for the required items under Request for Proposal (RFP) N61331-15-T-9251. A subsequent solicitation document will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-78 effective December 26, 2014. The applicable NAICS Code is 334111, FSC 2090, and the small business size standard is 1000 employees. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Panama City Division FL intends to award a competitive firm fixed price commercial contract for the following slightly modified commercial off the shelf items: CLIN 0001 - 30 each ruggedized rack mount servers in accordance with attached specification CLIN 0002 - Option 1 - 30 each ruggedized rack mount servers in accordance with attached specification CLIN 0003 - Option 2 - 40 each ruggedized rack mount servers in accordance with attached specification CLIN 0004 - Option 3 - 40 each ruggedized rack mount servers in accordance with attached specification The Government intends to exercise options solely at its discretion as follows: CLIN 0002 by 30 June 2015 CLIN 0003 by 30 March 2016 CLIN 0004 by 30 May 2017 Offerors are required to certify that the product offered meets MIL-S-901D Grade B shock requirements and that the server housings are non-magnetic aluminum. Award will be to the lowest price responsible offeror whose product meets all requirements of the attached specification. New Equipment ONLY; NO remanufactured or "gray market" items. All items must be covered by the manufacturer's warranty. This solicitation requires registration with the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award, pursuant to applicable regulations and guidelines. Registration information can be found at www.sam.gov. Delivery of CLIN 0001 is required by 30 March 2015.
