This is a notice of intent; The Overton Brooks VA Medical Center intends to negotiate a sole source firm fixed price contract with Slocum, Thomas DBA Slocum & Associates located 337 Sundance Trail, Liberty Hill, TX for the testing and certification of electrical switchgear. Slocum & Associates is a VIP registered Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business which possesses the site-specific knowledge of the electrical system. Slocum & Associates is partnered with the incumbent contractor who possesses proprietary knowledge of the system specifications and as-built layouts. The statutory authority for the sole source procurement is FAR 13-106-1(b), Soliciting from a Single Source and FAR 19.1406 Sole Source Awards to SDVOSB Concerns.
