Description

NOTICE OF PROPOSED CONTRACT ACTION: In accordance with the Veterans First Contracting Program and the Authority under 38 USC 8127-8128 (Sections 502 and 503 of Public Law (P.L.) 109-461), FAR Part 6.302-5(b) (6), and VAAR 819.7007, the Government intends to negotiate a sole source contract to a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) for Project 675-14-809, entitled "Repair Drainage and Service Door Access-Lake Nona". This requirement is located at the Orlando Department of Veterans Affairs, Lake Nona Campus, 13800 Veterans Way, Orlando, FL 32827. The project requires the contractor to provide both design and construction services to repair drainage problems at the Lake Nona Central Energy Plant. The estimate price range of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. The NAICS Code for this acquisition is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction The Small Business Size Standard is $36.5 Million. This is not a solicitation and does not constitute a commitment or an obligation by the government. This notice is not a request for offers, quotes or proposals. This acquisition is 100% Set-Aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Only. The government intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Blue Cord Design & Construction, a SDVOSB concern. Blue Cord Design and Construction is listed in the Vendor Information Pages (https://www.vip.vetbiz.gov/) data base as a verified SDVOB entity by the Center for Veterans Enterprises under DUNS Number 833109593.
