Description
Defense Logistics Agency (DLA)-Aviation intends to add an additional 98 NSNs to the exiting Log Term Contract with AVIALL, SPE4AX13D9427. A list of these NSNs is available upon request. This is being procured as other than full and open competition under 10 USC 2304(c)(1), unrestricted procurement. These items are commercial off the shelf. A sole Source Solicitation, Letter RFP, will be for a proposed fixed price with 6 months remaining in Option year 1 with 3 additional one-year option periods. The notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. DSCR does not have a competitive data package for any of the NSNs included in this solicitation. FOB is Origin and Inspection/Acceptance is Origin. Surge requirements do not apply. Possible stock delivery locations are any CONUS facility. Surplus dealers and small business dealers and distributors having existing stocks of surplus or newly manufactured material are invited to respond to this synopsis. The response should include a completed surplus certificate, DLAD 52.211-9000, Government Surplus Material, or adequate traceability documentation to show product is acceptable. In addition, respondents should identify quantity available and price. DLA will consider all such responses and may alter the acquisition strategy if purchase of existing surplus or newly-manufactured inventory is in the best interests of the government. The solicitation package must be completed in its entirety prior to submission. Incomplete submission of the solicitation package may be deemed unacceptable and may result in disqualification of the proposal. Award will be made only if the offeror of the product/service, or the manufacturer, meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAT clause 52.209-1. The solicitation identifies the office where additional information can be obtained concerning qualification requirements as cited in each individual solicitation.
