Description

KC-46A Two-Bay Depot Maintenance Hangar & Depot Maintenance Complex Support Infrastructure. This FY-15 projects is a design-bid-build construction project for a two-bay multi use depot maintenance facility configured for corrosion control and fuel aircraft maintenance. Work includes refined grading of site, storm drainage, all utility infrastructure systems including electrical, water, sewer and communications connections with the Infrastructure Project systems, roads aircraft parking apron and all other supporting facilities. The Depot Maintenance Complex Support Infrastructure work involves leveling the Maintenance Complex site, storm drainage all utility infrastructure systems including electrical, water, sewer, communications and fuel. The project will be solicited as an unrestricted procurement with a cost magnitude between $100,000,000 and $250,000,000. The request for proposal will utilize the trade off process for selection of the contractor that represents the best value to the Government for this procurement. The contract award from this request for proposal will be a Firm Fixed Price contract. The solicitation will be posted on or about March 3, 2015 with a proposal due date of April 16, 2015. Award of the contract is expected to be made on or about July 31, 2015.
