- 15RJN18_syn N00164-15-R-JN18 -.50 CALIBER SPECIAL APPLICATION SNIPER RIFLE (SASR) RECEIVER NAICS 332994 - FSC 1005 Anticipated Issue Date 31 MAR 2015 - Anticipated Closing Date 30 APR 2015 - Time 02:00 PM EST Solicitation number N00164-15-R-JN18 will be issued as a request for proposals as a 100% small business set-aside. This requirement will be procured utilizing Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 procedures. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be published to the Government Point of Entry (this website, listed below) on or about 31 March 2015, and anticipate that proposal(s) will be due by no later than 2:00 PM (EST) 30 April 2015. This solicitation is being posted to Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov/. FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet. Please feel free to use the FBO site to access information posted by NSWC Crane. This requirement is for a 5-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for.50 Caliber Special Application Sniper Rifle (SASR) Receivers, minimum quantity 10 EA/maximum quantity 500 EA. The MK15 Action shall be of bolt action design and secure to the MK 15 MOD 1 stock. All internal components to include the ejector assembly, extractor assembly and firing pin assembly shall be interchangeable between actions. The MK15 Action shall possess an optimized design for the baseline caliber of.50 Browning Machine Gun (BMG). It is anticipated that this procurement will be made using full and open competition. Sample Products will be required to the quantity of three (3) each. The units procured under this requirement shall be manufactured in accordance with NSWC Crane Specification PS-JXNLL-F15-0014, Statement of Work, and Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL's). The technical data package contains information that is restricted. Only a business registered in Joint Certification Program (JCP) and certified by the Department of Defense, United States/Canada Joint Certification Office is allowed to receive the package. The Government intends to award to offerors that represent the best value to the Government considering technical, past performance, and price. Inspection and Acceptance is to be at destination with delivery FOB Destination: NSWC Crane, IN 47522-5001. The solicitation attachments will be posted to the FBO website concurrently with the solicitation. The Contractor must be properly registered in the Government System for Award Management database (SAM) in order to receive the solicitation attachments. To be eligible for award, contractors must be properly registered in the Government System for Award Management database (SAM). Offerors may obtain information on SAM registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-866-606-8220, or via the Internet at www.sam.gov RFPs are in portable document format (PDF). No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed. Interested sources must download from the www site listed. Offers must be submitted in the format specified in the solicitation to be considered.
