Description

Whole Blood Products and Services NCO 8 NF/SG Gainesville Florida is seeking responsible sources to provide a service contract for Whole Blood Products and services for all locations within the NF/SG Veterans Healthcare System. This notice is for planning and a solicitation is not available at this time. This synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources related to NAICS 621991. This service is located at the NF/SG VA Hospital, 1601 SW Archer Rd, Gainesville Florida 32608, and 619 S. Marion St Lake City, Florida 32025. Services include the following: Delivery of whole blood and blood products provided by a registered and/or licensed blood bank entity and pick-up from all NF/SG locations. Collection, Process and Typing of Blood, Packaging and Marking: Blood shall be labeled as to A, B, 0 and Rh type, and testing for Anti-HIV-1/2, Anti-HCV, HbsAg, Anti-HTLV-I/II, Anti-HBc, Syphilis, HIV-1/HCV RNA, and West Nile Virus. Federal Supply Schedule holders, Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Veteran Owned Small Business, Hub-Zone Small Business, Small Disadvantage Business, and Women-Owned Small Business are encouraged to respond. Responses must be received in writing or fax no later than 4:00 p.m. EST Feb 27, 2015. Respondents should clearly state their ability to provide the services required for the NF/SG Area. If the solicitation is issued, it will be announced at a later date, and all interested parties must respond to the solicitation announcement separately from their responses to this announcement. Responses to this sources sought is not a request to be added to a prospective bidders list or to receive a copy of the solicitation. This sources sought notice is for Market Research purposes only.
