- Culinary Arts Program - Statement of Work TO ALL INTERESTED PARTIES This Request for Information (RFI) is being issued to determine market interest and identify potential sources that will be able to meet the requirements for providing a Culinary Arts Program for the inmate population at the Federal Correctional Complex located in Coleman, Florida. The requirement for Culinary Arts Program services would be for an estimated maximum of 6000 session per year (a session is defined as one hour). The resultant contract would be for a one year base period with an additional four 12 month option periods. All services would be provided in accordance with the attached Statement of Work. The questions below pertain to the services that may be sought under an upcoming solicitation. If you have an interest in the upcoming solicitation, please provide a written response to all questions below and send your response to Jim D. Seratt, Contract Specialist, via email at jseratt@bop.gov. REQUEST FOR INFORMATION 1. Can your firm provide this service as either a prime contractor or as a subcontractor? 2. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for Other Technical and Trade Schools is 611519. The Small Business Administration has established the small business size standard at $15,000,000 in annual gross revenue (below $15,000,000 is considered small, above $15,000,000 is considered large). Based on this standard, what is your business size, small or large? 3. If you are a small business, what level of subcontracting, if any, would be available for the service you are interested in providing? 4. Is your firm eligible for participation in one of the following small business programs? If so, please indicate the program. -"8(a)" program -Women-owned small business concern -Veteran-owned small business concern -Service-disabled veteran-owned small business concern -Use of a price evaluation adjustment for a small disadvantaged business concern 5. Does your firm have experience in placing/managing contract staff within correctional environments? 6. Can your firm provide firm fixed unit prices for future option periods (for example: a contract with a base year and four option years, equating a total of five years)? 7. The Federal Acquisition Regulations requires the following insurance for workers on a Government installation: Workers' Compensation and Employer's Liability not less than $100,000; General Liability no less than $500,000 per occurrence; and Automobile Liability of at $200,000 per person, $500,000 per occurrence for bodily injury, and $20,000 per occurrence for property damage. Are these rates and requirements consistent with regulatory requirements in Florida? 8. If no above, what are the standard rates per insurance? 9. How many calendar days does your firm need to prepare a quotation resulting from this solicitation? 10. Is your company registered in the System for Award Management (www.sam.gov)? 11. If awarded a contract, how many calendar days after the award could you begin providing services?
