- The Defense Health Agency, Contracts Operations Division, National Capital Region, (DHA/COD-NCR) Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, (WRNMMC) Bethesda, MD, has issued a contract to Medtronic Inc., for the purchase of Spinal Fusion Products. The contract is at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. The contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government has solicited and negotiated with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or service satisfied the requirements. This notice of award is NOT to request for competitive price quotes. A determination by the Government not to request quotes was made and responses to this notice are solely with the discretion of the Government. Award was made using SAP. Oral facsimile and telephone inquiries are not acceptable in the response to this notice.
