- 15RJQ79_syn N00164-15-R-JQ79 - SOLE SOURCE - SBIR OPTICAL TEST EQUIPMENT SPARES AND REPAIRS FSC 5855 - NAICS 333314 - Anticipated Issue Date: 15 May 2015 - Closing Date: 16 JUN 2015 - 2:00 PM EST (EDT) Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Division intends to solicit and award a single Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to Santa Barbara Infrared (SBIR), Santa Barbara, California, for specialized electro-optic test equipment spares and non-warranty repairs. The anticipated contract will be for a minimum of one each Infinity Differential Black Body 4 inch with Cable Assembly and Controller (SBIR Part Number DB-04-C-L-25-EG-Q), Rev A 2 inch Pellicles (SBIR Part Number 311-000-451), VSX Series Visible Light Source/Integrating Sphere (SBIR Part Number VSX-04-M-L-25-EG), and Dichroic Beam Combiners (SBIR Part Number 400-812-PL), with an estimated maximum value of $1,900,000.00, in accordance with FAR Part 12 procedures. The anticipated delivery is FOB Origin, 120 days after issuance of a Delivery Order placed within the IDIQ ordering period. The proposed contract action is for the supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source, SBIR, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." As the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of the required optical test equipment spares, SBIR is the only source that currently possesses sufficient requisite knowledge, engineering expertise, and technical data required to perform these efforts. No other source has the technical qualification and necessary resources to perform the work described herein, and no other supplies or services will satisfy the Government's requirement to replenish current SBIR optical test equipment and obtain non-warranty repair of existing SBIR optical test equipment. This synopsis is published for informative purposes (THIS NOTICE DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS).
