Description

This procurement will be for an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Construction type contract for one (1) year. Typical work will consist of maintenance repair projects, to include additional workplace lighting, additional electrical outlets, heating and air conditioning work, concrete jobs, additional restrooms for handicap workers, piping for plant compressed air, construction or demolition of partition walls, and changes to existing facilities for improved workflow and working conditions. This IDIQ contract will also produce high priority safety and environmental projects, new construction projects, and new equipment. Individual work orders will be submitted for each project and will be negotiated and approved by the government before work on that project begins. This procurement will be a competitive 8(a), North American Industry Classification System Code is 236210; size standard is $33,500,000.00. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.501, 5.102(a)(7) and 14.205-1(c); therefore hardcopies will not be provided. Proposals submitted must be in electronic format as stated in the solicitation. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the Internet: www.fedbizopps.gov. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is, in fact, unable to maintain a bidder mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above Internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for receipt of proposals may render your proposal non-responsive and result in the rejection of your proposal.
