Description

This is a presolicitation notice; no plans or specifications are available at this time. This project will be advertised as a Total Small Business Set-Aside. Prospective bidders must meet the size standards for the applicalbe NAICS code. The tentative advertisement date is March 5, 2015. The CA FTNP REDW PRES 1(14), Redwood National Park Bridge Preservation project is located approximately 5 miles north of Orick, CA and approximately 30 miles south of Crescent City, CA off Highway 101 in Redwood National Park. Significant items and quantities: Work will include bridge superstructure removal, 291 feet of precast, prestressed concrete deck bulb tee girders, 14 cubic yards of structural concrete, 218 linear feet of steel bridge rail, 3,475 pounds of epoxy coated reinforcing steel, and 45 tons of hot asphalt concrete pavement. It is anticipated that this project will be advertised in early March, 2015 with Notice to Proceed issued in early May, 2015 and construction completion in mid February, 2016. The contracting range for this project is between $400,000 and $600,000.
