Description

The Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System (GCVHCS) intends to negotiate a sole-source contract under the authority of FAR 6.302-5 (Authorized or Required by Statute), pursuant to Public Law 109-461 (Veterans Benefits, Health Care, and Information Technology Act of 2006), and 38 U.S.C. 8127 (Small Business Concerns Owned and Controlled by Veterans: Contracting Goals and Preferences), Paragraph (c), with APG Construction Company, Inc., a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), for a follow-on contract to enclose a ramp they constructed as a part of a project for a Mobile Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Trailer installation. The magnitude of construction cost range for this project is estimated to be between $25,000 and $100,000. The resultant contract will be a firm-fixed price contract. The Period of Performance will be not-to-exceed 60 calendar days from receipt of the Notice-To-Proceed. The NAICS Code is 236220 and the Size Standard is $36.5M. This Presolicitation Notice serves as notice of intent to award a sole source contract and is not a request for competitive proposals and is not a solicitation or request for offers.
