Description

THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. REQUEST FOR A SOLICITATION WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE. This Sources Sought Synopsis is in support of Market Research being conducted by the United States Army to identify potential sources, and if this effort can be competitive or a Small Business Set-Aside. The primary proposed North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 335931 which has a corresponding Size Standard of 500 employees. The Government will use this information to determine the best acquisition strategy for this procurement. The Government is interested in all businesses to include 8(a), small business and small disadvantaged business, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, Hub-zone, and Women-Owned small business concerns. The government requests that interested parties respond to this notice if applicable and identify your small business status to the both identified NAICS codes. Additionally, please provide any anticipated teaming arrangements, along with a description of similar services offered to the Government and to commercial customers for the past three years. Any responses involving teaming agreements should delineate between the work that will be accomplished by the prime and the work accomplished by the teaming partners This Sources Sought is to notify companies that Letterkenny Army Depot is seeking potential sources for Ground Power Units (GPUs) Salient Characteristics include: 1. Must be a quote mark Stand Alone quote mark source of power 2. Must provide both 12 & 24 VDC Continuous output power. 3. Must be small enough that a maintenance team can maneuver it through a parking lot by hand to work on vehicles. (ie.. with a handle, on wheels) the customer does not want a GPU that must be towed by another vehicle, or that is carried manually. 4. There must be at least one (1) DC NATO Cable Assembly (24 volt) and one (1) DC Cable with Alligator clips (12 volt). These items are required for maintenance operations at Letterkenny Army depot. Interested vendors should identify whether they are able to both provide the GPUs and the additional equipment, or only one or the other. Please submit expressions of interest in your own format to include documentation of capabilities in sufficient detail for the Government to determine that your company possesses the necessary expertise and experience to compete for this acquisition. Since this is a SOURCES SOUGHT announcement, no evaluation letters will be issued to the participants. This synopsis is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, and no contract will be awarded from this announcement. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement.
