SOURCES SOUGHT ONLY ANNOUNCEMENT TO REQUEST INFORMATION ONLY: The Mission Installation and Contracting Command (MICC) Fort Jackson is conducting market research to determine availability of interested small business (to include: 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB, SDB, and WOSB/EDWOSB) firms that are capable of providing High Voltage Electrical System Emergency Repair services on Fort Jackson This is a request to determine whether or not small businesses are capable fulfilling this requirement. This sources sought is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to award a contract. The Government will not reimburse participants for information voluntarily provided. All information that is provided is strictly voluntary. Responses to these notices are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. The information provided will be used to determine availability of capable small businesses, including socioeconomic small businesses indicated above. Any resultant contract will be a Firm Fixed Price contract. The NAICS Code is 238210. Interested parties are encouraged to review this to familiarize themselves with the requirements of this project, and provide capability statements that contain and address the following areas: 1. Company name, CAGE Code, DUNS Number, and point of contact information to include name, title, phone number, and email address. 2. Company size classification relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for the proposed acquisition. 3. Experience: Provide a list of recent relevant contracts (same or similar in nature of work, size, and complexity), including Contract Number. 4. Address capability to provide contractor personnel for the specific task in the DRAFT Scope of Work. Information Submission Instructions: Information submitted must be in sufficient detail as to allow for a thorough government review of firm's interest and capabilities. This information is due no later than Monday, December 22, 2014 at 1:00 PM (EST). Please email to SFC Keith Legette at keith.l.legette.mil@mail.mil and Keith Friot at keith.d.friot.civ@mail.mil. This RFI notice is issued for planning purposes only, and does not constitute a solicitation for proposals, offers, bids, and/or quotes. This is not an announcement of a forthcoming solicitation, or confirmation that the Government will contract for the items contained in the RFI, nor is any commitment on the part of the Government to award a contract implied. Responses to this notice will assist the government in identifying potential sources in determining a set-aside for this requirement. Respondents are advised that the government will not pay for any information or administrative cost incurred in response to this RFI. Responses to the RFI will not be returned.
