Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Requirement: The U.S. Army Security Assistance Command (USASAC) has a requirement for hotel/conference accommodations in support of the Taiwanese delegation. The Period of Performance will be from 11 - 18 April 2015. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 721110 for Hotel Management Services with the Size Standard is $32.5M. The contractor shall provide the following: These meetings are held to share knowledge and focus on the case support needs of the visiting Taiwanese delegation. Place of Performance: The 2015 meeting will be held in the Seattle, Washington area with approximately 50-60 attendees participating for a period of 5 days. Hotel Overnight Accommodations: It is anticipated that all attendees will be requiring overnight accommodations to be paid separately with the attendee's government travel cards. Taiwan PMR Requirements: Four to Five (4-5) Star Level Hotel with an average of 42 rooms for 7 nights with complimentary internet; and government per diem rates. The room block is for Sunday April 11, 2015 with checkout Saturday April 18, 2015. The hotel must be within walking distance of restaurants as the Taiwan delegation will not have rental cars. Meeting Space Accommodations: Will need the meeting space for five (5) days from 13-17 April 2015 to accommodate up to 50-60 people total with 30-35 people seated at the U-shaped table arrangement. In addition, providing breakout room space that will accommodate 20 people. Refreshments: Continental breakfast (Hot breakfast); AM-PM Breaks; All day coffee, tea & water refreshments. Audio Visual: Podium & Microphones; (4) table microphones; projector and screen; laptop computer, printer, wireless mouse, table with power cords and a shredder. Business Center: 24 hour access to the business center with use of a printer. Applicable Government Tax Exempt: Meeting Rooms Rental Fees and AV Equipment.
