Description

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to American Hospital Association Inc. for a license to access its healthcare IT database. This database contains its American Hospital Association's (AHA) data collected from its annual survey of hospitals. The AHA's healthcare IT database contains proprietary information collected solely by this contractor and no other source exists that collects and assembles this wealth of information regarding hospitals in the United States. This contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) (SAP) and 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). The Government intends to make an award for a 12-month base year and two (2) 12-month option periods. The anticipated period of performance will be 3/1/2015 through 2/29/2018 if all options are exercised. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals.
