- STATEMENT OF WORK PROJECT NAME: NAVY WEEK NEW ORLEANS (APRIL 2015) COMMAND CENTER CUSTOMER: COMMANDER NAVY REGION SOUTHEAST PORT OPERATIONS INTRODUCTION: NAVY WEEK NEW ORLEANS is being held from 23-29 APRIL 2015 by direction of headquarters, U.S. Fleet Forces Command/Commander Task Force Eight Zero (CTF80) OPORD. Commander Navy Region Southeast has been directed to establish a U.S. NAVY COMMAND CENTER. BACKGROUND: This is the second large Navy event in New Orleans in the last 3 years. USFFC scheduled this major Navy event in conjunction with the City of New Orleans. There are multiple layers of coordination between multiple units and organizations, Federal, State and Local. Coordination for multiple events in support of the Schedule of Events, force protection for multiple Naval units/events and to support the Naval Public Affairs Mission. Based on these mission requirements to include reliable communication, IT support to include suitable connectivity, proximity to the Port of New Orleans. REQUIREMENT: To provide six conference rooms to serve as a command center, joint information center and briefing areas, that will include supplies and services to support NAVY WEEK NEW ORLEANS to include Commander, Navy Region Southeast, Commander, Expeditionary Strike Group TWO, USS WASP, USS COLE, USS JAMES E. WILLIAMS, HMS LANCASTER, HMCS ATHABASKAN and USCG EAGLE. These services are required to support this large scale Navy Week, to provide space and services for the Flag Staff Battle Watch Captains (and associated watch standers), Force Protection oversight, Public Affairs support, Flag Officer support and briefing areas. Supplies and services required for the NAVY COMMAND CENTER are the following: Rooms ; Facility Rental ( total 6 rooms) 24-hour IT Coverage - Command Center A Would like these two rooms combined Conference style seating (for 30/ chairs around perimeter) VLAN support for 25 computers; cables to support 25 computers Electrical outlets to support 25 computers Power Strips Labor for Electrical One TV Cable 8 dedicated landlines 1 color printer 1 color copier 2 cases of paper Electrical for copier/ Printer Electrical for labor for copier and printer Networking for Printer and copier - Command Center B (Public Affairs Office) Conference style seating (for 30/ chairs around perimeter) VLAN to support for 10 computers Electrical outlets to support 12 computers Power Strips Labor for Electrical Wifi AP One TV Cable 6 dedicated landlines 1 color printer 2 cases of paper Electrical for Printer Electrical for labor for printer Networking for Printer 388- Break Room Banquet style seating Linen for 5 rounds - Briefing Room Theater style seating Podium/ mic Sound system Labor for sound for AM briefing Screen w/ pp projector Wifi AP - Flag/ DV Suite Conference style seating (for 30/ chairs around perimeter) Vlan to support for 4 computers Electrical outlets to support 4 computers 2 Dedicated landlines NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (17-FEB-2015); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
