Description
This is a pre-solicitation notice to announce the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in West Palm Beach, FL intends to issue a solicitation to interested Service-Disabled, Veteran-Owned, Small Businesses (SDVOSB) who can provide all labor, materials, equipment and supervision to perform a three year breaker test. This project requires the maintenance, inspection, testing, and/or calibration of the Electrical Power Distribution System and all of its components. This procurement will be 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled, Veteran-Owned, Small Businesses (SDVOSB). The NAICS code is 238210. The work will be performed at our medical center located at 7305 N. Military Trail, West Palm Beach, FL. More information will be provided in a forth coming solicitation that will be posted on FedBizOpps, https://www.fbo.gov on or about 04/11/2015. A site visit can be authorized if vendor request one during this pre-solicitation stage which starts on 02/19/2015 and closes on 3/6/2015. The site visit must take place on the same day for all vendors so not to extend the date past closing of this RFQ. The vendor must provide us with a date and time that is comfortable for them preferably during the hours of 08:00-2:00 Mon-Friday, no holidays or weekends. All responsible sources may submit an offer that if timely received, will be considered. Offerors are to be advised that an award may be made without discussion. However, the Government reserves the right to enter into discussion if deemed necessary, and if discussions are conducted, the Offerors within the competitive range will be afforded the opportunity to revise their proposal. Questions are due on or about 2/25/2014@Noon Eastern Time. Proposals are to be submitted electronically to the following email victor.abinader@va.gov, electronic proposals shall be titled in the following format company name and RFQ number the contractor must ensure that we receive the proposal on time, confirming this by e-mail. Telephone requests for the solicitation will not be accepted or honored. Offerors are responsible to submit all documentation requested and completely fill out the solicitation. Incomplete solicitations will not be considered for evaluation.
