Description

Purchase Spec This is a pre-solicitation synopsis in accordance with FAR 5.201. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) or an Invitation for Bid (IFB), nor is it to be construed as a commitment by the government. This synopsis is prepared in accordance with guidance found in FAR 5.207, and is prepared for the purpose of notifying potential offerors of an upcoming solicitation for service or supplies. The solicitation for this requirement will be posted under the same reference number as stated above. The solicitation will be posted on FedBizOpps on or about 6 March 2015 with a closing response date of on or about 6 April 2015. It is the contractor's responsibility to monitor FedBizOpps on a regular basis for the solicitation along with any amendments. The 309th Component Maintenance Group intends to award a sole source procurement to Parker Hannifin Corporation for one (1) Rudder integrated flight control module test fixture, one (1) Aileron test fixture, and an updated gap analysis which will define what requirements are needed to complete the C17 workload stand-up and Hill AFB, Utah. Parker Hannifin owns the required source code and performed the initial gap analysis and has been determined the only source capable of meeting the Government's needs. Hill AFB, UT anticipates one (1) Firm Fixed Price contract award for procurement and FOB destination delivery of Test Fixtures.
