- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a Synopsis for Mowing and Maintenance at Monroe Lake. The Lake is on Salt Creek, a tributary of the East Fork of the White River. The dam is about 15 miles south of Bloomington, Indiana and approximately 130 miles west of Cincinnati, Ohio. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, materials, supplies, parts, tools, equipment, vehicles, transportation, communication, management, supervision, and quality control required to perform the operation and maintenance provided for in this contract. The contract term shall be from the date of award to 31 December 2015. This RFP contains an option clause to extend the contract for two one-year periods. If the options to extend are exercised, the two one-year periods will be from 01 January 2016 thru 31 December 2016, and 01 January 2017 thru 31 December 2017. NOTE: This procurement is 100% set aside for small business, NAICS 561730 ($7.5M). Award for this procurement will be based on best value to the Government. This RFP has an approximate issue date of 19 February 2015 and an approximate due date of 05 March 2015. The Solicitation will be available by download from the Internet only.
