VA786-15-Q-0116 Pre Solicitation Notice for Concrete & Pavement Patch, Security System Installation, Interior Metal Door Placement, Exterior Sign Installation, Kitchen Cabinet Replacement, and Painting Services For Camp Butler National Cemetery, Nicholasville, KY 40356 RFP VA786-15-Q-0116 - Overview: The Contractor shall furnish all personnel, supervision, professional expertise, vehicles, tools, materials, services, equipment and quality control necessary. This project is for various general construction improvements to the buildings and the grounds at Camp Butler National Cemetery, Springfield, Illinois. The work includes a security system and interior metal door placement in the Administration Building; an exterior sign, new kitchen cabinets and paint in the Maintenance Building; Replacement of flagstone slabs around Flag Pole with concrete and a pavement patch on the service road. The work includes site investigation to verify all measurements and site conditions before start of the work and the ordering of any materials. Locate all utilities prior to any digging. The work includes shop drawings and submittals to be approved for all materials to be used. All work shall be performed in a professional workmanship like manner. All adjacent disturbed surfaces shall be repaired to the same quality standards of the existing work and shall also match the adjacent areas. Properly remove and dispose all excess soils and all debris from government property. Project will be for 45 calendar days from issuance of the notice to proceed. This acquisition is for a 100% Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside. Offerors must have CVE certification as a SDVOSB at the time of proposal submission. North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code 238110 is applicable. Please reference Solicitation Number RFQ VA786-15-Q-0116 on remittances. An electronic solicitation will be available for download from www.FedBizOpps.gov on or about February 26, 2014. Responses to the solicitation are due by 2:00 p.m., March 31, 2015. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments to the solicitation which is available at Fed Biz Opps.
