Description

The Carl Vinson VA Medical Center located at 1826 Veterans Blvd, Dublin, GA intends to issue Information for Bid (IFB), Number VA247-15-B-0288, for project #557-14-105 "Renovate 13B for Acute Care and Intensive Care Units" on or about the week of March 5, 2015. Unless additional notice is given or this notice is modified or cancelled, the full solicitation, specifications and drawings will be posted on FedBizOpps (www.fbo.gov). This solicitation is 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, registration is required in the Official U.S. Government "System for Award Management (SAM)" at the following website; https://www.sam.gov. This is a no fee registration. User guides and webinars are available under the Help tab. Additional help is available at the Service Desk URL: http://www.FSD.gov. In accordance with VAAR 852.219-10 VA Notice of Total Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside and VAAR 819-7005; Offeror submitting a proposal must be CVE verified and visible in the VIP database at time of proposal due date. A pre-bid/site visit is tentatively scheduled for March 10, 2015. The exact date, time and meeting location will be noted on the IFB solicitation document. All prospective bidders are encouraged to attend. Cost Estimate: The anticipated cost range of this project is $2,000,000.00 - $5,000,000.00 This is a pre-solicitation notice synopsizing an upcoming IFB solicitation to satisfy the requirement of FAR 5.201 and 5.203. The Contracting Officer will NOT answer questions regarding this notice until an IFB is issued. Questions will only be answered that are received by Request for Information (RFI). The Contracting Officer will not maintain a bidder's mailing list. All interested parties should register via the FedBizOpps interested vendors list. Do not contact the Contracting Officer for General Contractor information. It is the responsibility of the offeror to monitor and download amendments from FedBizOpps which may be issued to this solicitation. The scope of work for this project includes, but is not limited to general construction, alterations, removal of all existing interior walls and utilities. Construct new interior partition walls with all utilities to facilitate the operation of an Acute Care and Intensive Care Unit based on Plans and Specifications. This project will be completed in accordance with drawings and specifications and all applicable federal, state and municipal, laws, codes and regulations governing such work. The performance period is 360 calendar days from receipt of Notice to Proceed.
